Literally: “The cashier of one of the exchangers on Mykola Bazhana Avenue called the special line 102 after an unknown man entered the premises of the currency exchange office and, threatening her with a gun, demanded money from the cash register, but, not receiving it, fled the scene.

Soon after, the suspect went to another currency exchange point located on the same street with similar demands. The cashier managed to hide, so the intruder was left with nothing.
…the suspect was located and arrested less than two hours after the attacks. He turned out to be a 29-year-old resident of the capital. The police seized a gun from him, which turned out to be a toy gun“.
Details: The police and the prosecutor’s office informed the man of suspicion under part 4 of Art. 187 of the Criminal Code โ robbery committed under martial law, combined with the threat of violence. He is being held in custody.
