Russia launched a massive attack on Ukraine on November 17. There are victims in Kremenchuk, Poltava region, the mayor of the city, Vitaly Maletskyi, said.

“Destroyed cars and minor destruction of structures of residential buildings. Thanks to the prompt work of the rescuers, it was possible to quickly extinguish the fire that broke out at the place where the debris fell,” said the mayor.

According to him, “medics are helping a woman who was injured by falling debris while walking her dog. She is already under the supervision of doctors, and together we are doing everything possible to save her.”

The head of the OVA, Philip Pronin, clarified that firefighters have already managed to eliminate the fire that broke out as a result of the Russian attack – 5 cars caught fire, and the glazing of six high-rise buildings was damaged. The victim is in serious condition, she was hospitalized.

In addition, according to the mayor of Svitlovodsk Andriy Malitskyi, traffic on the dam from Kremenchuk is currently blocked.

On the night of November 17, Russia launched a combined air strike on the territory of Ukraine using various types of missiles and kamikaze drones.

After three o’clock, Russian forces launched 17 Tu-95 strategic bombers into the air. The invaders also took 4 missile carriers with 24 Kalibr missiles on board to the Black Sea. Around six in the morning, a rocket launch by Russian strategic aircraft was recorded. There was also a launch of Calibers from the Russian flotilla, and even later ballistic missiles from Feodosia and aeroballistic missiles “Kinzhal” from Tambov (RF).

Explosions rang out in Kyiv and a number of Ukrainian cities. Air defense forces were working. All over Ukraine, hits to infrastructure objects were recorded.

The Russian military regularly attacks Ukrainian regions with various types of weapons – attack UAVs, rockets, anti-aircraft missiles, and anti-aircraft missiles.

The leadership of Russia denies that the Russian army during a full-scale war inflicts targeted strikes on the civilian infrastructure of the cities and villages of Ukraine, killing the civilian population and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply facilities.

The Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes committed by the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are purposeful.
