In Kyiv, in connection with night shelling, rail infrastructure has been damaged in one of the city areas, traffic on this area is temporarily carried out by locomotives, Ukrzaliznytsia reports.

The company specified that employees and passengers were not injured.

“Far trains move on a schedule. However, there may be minor deviations from the Kyiv City Express train schedule in the direction from Svyatoshin to Kyiv-Passenger station. We work to return to the usual schedule as soon as possible, ”the message reads.

According to the authorities, as a result of a night blow, during which the Russian military hit Kiev with drones and rockets, at least six hundred people were killed in Kiev. Search and rescue work is still ongoing, in particular, in Svyatoshinsky district, where a 9-storey entrance has collapsed as a result of a direct hit of the Russian rocket. The authorities warn that the number of victims can grow.

Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko stated that nine children were among the victims. According to him, it is the largest number of injured children in one night in Kiev from the beginning of a full -scale war.

The Air Force reported that the Russian military on the night of July 31 attacked Ukraine 317 by means of air attack: 309 drones and eight winged missiles, the main direction of impact was Kiev. According to the military, the direct hit of five rockets (one of them hit a dwelling house in Kiev), as well as 21 shock drones in 12 locations. In addition, 19 locations recorded a fall in fragments of whipped goals.

The Russian strike was inflicted on the backdrop of US President Donald Trump’s statement, who said that he was “very disappointed” by Russian leader Vladimir Putin because of his unwillingness to stop the war and “reduce” his previously voiced 50-day period to which the Russian leader had to agree to peace. Trump stated that the deadline – 10 days – for Russia begins on July 29.

The Kremlin stated that they “took into account” the statement of US President Donald Trump. At the same time, the Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov noted that the “special military operation”, as in Russia is called war against Ukraine, is ongoing.
