The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation in recent days has declared allegedly Ukrainian blows on the energy infrastructure of the Russian Federation. The General Staff of the Armed Forces denies it.
On March 28, the Armed Forces Staff emphasizes that the forces of Ukraine’s defense forces are steadily adopting with partners of agreements on stopping blows on energy objects – fire damage is carried out exclusively for military purposes of the Russian army.
At the same time, the Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov accused Ukraine of violating the moratorium for firing of energy objects. Therefore, as the Kremlin spokesman stated, Russia “leaves the right” also not to observe the moratorium.

On March 25, the Kremlin stated that the moratorium on the power system was allegedly valid within 30 days, starting on March 18, 2025, but in “the case of violation of the moratorium one of the parties the other party has the right to consider itself free from obligations to comply with its observance.”
