Also, according to the Ukrainian soldiers, in Kupyansk direction the forces of defense “successfully repelled the infantry attacks of the enemy near Kamyanka, Sand, Petropavlivka and Zhizovy.”

“The occupiers continue to use outdated arms samples, including T-55 tanks, converted to move personnel to the leading positions and to the areas of concentration,” Khortytsia said.

Earlier it was reported that the unsuccessful attempts of the Russian troops to provide crossings across the Oskil River.

The Armed Forces are trying to eliminate the Russian so -called “bridgehead” on the bank of the Oskil River in Kharkiv region.

At the end of January, British intelligence noted that Russian troops had created a bridgehead on the western bank of the Oskil River in November 2024, and since then tactically advanced in the area.

Intelligence was also reported that Russia is “almost probably” trying to press on the Kupyansk logistics center, also located on the Oskil River, about 12 kilometers south of the bridgehead.

At the beginning of a full -scale invasion of Russian force, Kupyansk was occupied. But in September 2022, the city was liberated from Russian troops.
