Formally, the estimate of Tegernsee Limited, but now the court made a decision to sell to cover its debts.
According to the German portal Immowelt, which has been tracking prices since 1996, this villa has exceeded the previous record holder – a house in Campen, on Zilt Island, which cost 10 million euros cheaper.
Usmanov used the estate as a summer residence until February 2022, when he came under EU sanctions and left Germany. Later, the Munich prosecutor’s office opened a case against him about tax evasion.
The court instructed the arbitration manager Ulrich Kramer to put the villa for sale to cover the debts of the Tegernsee Limited, which in 2011 purchased it for 7.8 million euros.
Usmanov himself insists that he did not possess real estate, but only rented it for 77 thousand euros a week.
In 2022 and 2023 in the villa in Rothtes-Egerne and other Usmanov objects in Germany were searched.
Law enforcement officers seized documents and 30 paintings worth 5 million euros.
The oligarch denied his involvement in the villa, Dilbar yacht, where investigative actions and valuable arts also took place.
Later, the court in Germany found the searches illegal, and in November 2023, the Frankfurt-Main court ordered the return of the seized property.
However, the sale of villa is ongoing, and now it can change the owner for a record amount.
