In France, the provocation of the Russian fighter against Dron Reaper in the Mediterranean was stated

France’s Defense Minister Sebastien Lecorton reported the provocative actions of the Russian Su-35 fighter against the French drone Reaper over the Mediterranean Sea, according to the Minister’s post on March 4.

“On Sunday, the Russian Su-35 fighter was dangerous against the French drone Reaper, who performed a reconnaissance mission in the international airspace over the Eastern Mediterranean,” the statement said.

Lecorton added that three consecutive close spans could lead to loss of control over the drone, demonstrating the desire to limit free air traffic in the common airspace.

“These are deliberate, unprofessional and aggressive actions that are unacceptable. France will continue to take measures to protect freedom of navigation in international airspace and marine spaces, ”the minister stressed.

The Russian side has not made applications for the incident.

Last December, two Dutch F-35 fighters intercepted three Russian aircraft over the Baltic Sea. This happens, for example, when the aircraft approaches NATO airspace without identifying itself.
