Details: The report noted that the ban extends to countries leading the invading war and may threaten the country’s national security. Restrictions will be related to both citizens of such states and legal entities registered in their territory, as well as companies under their influence.
According to the Defense Minister Antta Hakkiannen, as Russia continues to be a threat to security in Europe, property possession can be “used for hostile influence.”
Straight language minister: “Threats may relate to economies, infrastructure, business, safety of supply or even the ability of the state to protect their citizens. We strive to minimize any risks to the security of Finns.”
Details: It is expected that the new law will help reduce the number of applications for the purchase of real estate, which will give the authorities more opportunities to carefully consider each case.
