In occupied Crimea, 1279 cases of “discrediting” of the army of Russia were opened, the representative office of the President of Ukraine in the ARC reported.

“The increase in occupation resistance in Crimea is evidenced by the increase in the number of illegal administrative proceedings in the occupation courts under the article on the so -called discredit of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation,” the statement reads.

As it is noted, in 1156 cases the decision was made to impose an administrative penalty in the form of a fine or the materials were annexed to another case under another article with a comprehensive decision. In 22 cases, the materials continue.

At the same time, 561 (49%) of the decree was issued for women, 593 (51%) for men. The total amount of fines imposed is not less than 35.5 million rubles, the representation reported.

From March 2022, an article on “discrediting” of the Russian army has been operating in the Russian Federation and in the occupied territories. It is used to suppress anti-war moods, persecution of activists and any forms of disagreement with the official position of the Kremlin. Pursuits in Crimea are exacerbated by pro -Russian activists.
