Details: The Bulgarian Constitutional Court found an unlawful election of 16 deputies to parliament after a partial transfer of votes in the October elections.

The court considered the results of the election on the complaint of the populist and nationalist Party “Greatness”, which did not overcome the 4 percent barrier for passing to parliament-she had lost several votes.

After the vote was recalculated, the Great Great Party, which does not support Ukraine, received 10 seats. The other six seats were divided between four small batches.

The fragile ruling coalition, led by the Herb Center, lost five places, but kept the minimum majority-121 place in the 240-seater Parliament.

The Constitutional Court, in his statement on Thursday, rejected the calls for complete conversion of votes. However, the partial conversion of votes at hundreds of polling stations added even more uncertainty on the unstable political stage of Bulgaria, where for many years scattered parties cannot obtain a majority or form stable coalitions.

The October elections at which the Gerb Party won, gaining about 26% of the vote, have been the seventh elections over the last four years. But only in January, the Bulgaria Parliament approved the Cabinet of Ministers, headed by Rosen Zhelazkov, the former speaker of the Parliament, putting an end to many months of coalition negotiations.
