The guy was reported to have a police murder during an interrogation, which lasted for several hours.
A woman and a girl were found on June 6 after a fire in the house where they lived. When the fire was extinguished, rescuers found the body of a 46-year-old woman. They also found a 6-year-old girl who was alive at the time, it was not possible to save her. Both victims, according to the investigation, found knife wounds, and law enforcement officers found that the fire was deliberately arranged.
At the time of the fire, the 16-year-old son of the family was at school.
The motives of murder are still unknown.
On June 7, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that foreign minister Andriy Sibiga instructed the Embassy of Ukraine in Belgium to keep this case on special control.
A woman with her son and daughter escaped from Ukraine in 2022 because of a full -scale invasion of Russia, Belgian media writes. It is reported that the father remained in Ukraine against the Russian troops.
