In 2025, Russia doubled the number of missile and drone attacks on Ukrainian port infrastructure, said Oleksiy Kuleba, the Deputy Prime Minister for the Reconstruction of Ukraine and the Minister of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine.

“Over the past year, the intensity of attacks on the port infrastructure has increased significantly. For example: for the year 2025, 90 combined strikes were recorded. For comparison, this is twice as much as in the same period last year,” he wrote in a telegram.

According to him, almost 800 air alarms have sounded since the beginning of the year in Odesa region alone, their total duration is more than 30 days.

Since the beginning of December, the forces of the Russian Federation have been attacking Odeshchya almost daily, the targets of the attacks were, among other things, ports.

The Russian military regularly attacks Ukrainian regions with various types of weapons – attack UAVs, rockets, anti-aircraft missiles, and anti-aircraft missiles.

The leadership of Russia denies that the Russian army during a full-scale war inflicts targeted strikes on the civilian infrastructure of the cities and villages of Ukraine, killing the civilian population and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply facilities.

The Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes of the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are purposeful in nature.
