The International Atomic Energy Agency has announced the absence of an increase in radiation at the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant.

“The IAEA team at the Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant of Ukraine confirms the absence of an increase in the level of radiation at the facility,” – said Rafael Mariano Grossi CEO.

Former mayor Mariupol Petro Andryushchenko announced an increase in the level of radiation background in Zaporozhye on the evening of July 29. According to him, “as the wind was blowing, the radiation level, the wind from the occupied territory, rose.”
