How it will work and how to get money – on the air of the telethon told Minister of Health of Ukraine Viktor Lyashko.
How and when can I get funds? According to him, a month after reaching the age of 40, a person should receive a push notification in “Diya” that he can use the national checkup program and undergo an examination in three areas:
- cardiovascular diseases;
- diabetes;
- mental health.
“We start with this, because there is an evidence base that such diseases can be effectively detected during screening tests, and we will spend significantly less money if we detect the disease early and start preventing or treating it in time.
When a person is ready to use the program, a card is generated, on which the funds come, and the period for which they will be given is determined. While the discussion is ongoing,” – said the minister.
Next, the user chooses a medical facility where he can wait. There will be a list of hospitals, because they must meet certain requirements and perform those instrumental and laboratory tests determined by the state. However, Lyashko has not yet detailed the list of such services.
How much money will the user receive for waiting? The Ministry of Health has not yet announced the exact amount that will be allocated for the medical examination. However, Viktor Lyashko claims that the amount of the payment is sufficient and agreed with specialists of state and private clinics.
Those who, during the state check-up, are diagnosed with diseases that require outpatient treatment, will have the right to free medicines under the “Affordable Medicines” program.
