It is clear that it is not in Ukraine to be irony about it, but in general, Ilves has every reason to consider not the main football phenomenon even in his city. Many probably associate the concepts of “Tampere” and “football” with a completely different club.
Tampere United won three championships in zero, won a draw in the European Cups, played Charlerua … and then was exposed in contractual matches and disbanded. Yes, football is definitely not the pride of Finland, for a number of reasons.
History: A coat of arms invented by a military man, a transfer from Wimbledon, matches against Platini and Rossi At the same time, the history of hockey “lynxes” is inextricably linked to football brothers. Both created Niilo there – a legendary, semi -mythic character who played a huge role in the formation of Finnish sports as such. He played for Finland with a ball, football and hockey with a puck – he met the latter with the washer.

In some years, Ilves did not exist, in others he played in the second or third divisions: in almost 100 years, which had passed since the club, he played 28 seasons in the elite, 21-in the lower, but still professional leagues, and the rest of the time did not exist.

That is why, by the way, the club has such an unusual emblem. For hockey, this style is the absence of many details such as “Stars for Victory”, “The Year of foundation”, “The coat of arms of the city”, the positioning of one main character is quite typical, and the emblem was drawn primarily for hockey players.
It is noteworthy that in 1963 the coat of arms was painted by the military: the former anti-aircraft Run Broms, on the flag of the battalion of which was depicted. Are we waiting for the appearance of the same emblem in domestic clubs after many years?
And, agree, there is some charm, some special smile of fate is that the golden times of the club are connected with another football team, the name of which is first and foremost, the second, second and third place is associated with another sport.
