Bitcoin reacted to Donald Trump’s lead in the election race.
According to Binance, Bitcoin set an all-time record, surpassing the $75 mark. As of 8.13 according to Kyiv, the bitcoin rate was $74.78.
It was previously reported that on November 5, 2024, presidential elections were held in the USA. As of 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 6, polling stations were closed in almost the entire territory of the States — only some stations were open until 8:00 a.m. Kyiv time.
The process of counting votes in the USA is complicated, because there is no body in the country that would announce the results of the elections centrally (The Federal Election Commission does not have such powers and does not summarize the results of the elections). Each state counts votes separately, the general picture is collected by American media and news agencies.
US Democratic presidential candidate Donald Trump leads in all “swing” states.
- Trump defeated Harris in the first “swing” state – North Carolina
- Waiting for the results from Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania: Trump’s staff is happy, Democrats are pessimistic
- Trump wins in second swing state – Bloomberg
At six “swing” states – Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania – counted from a few percent to more than 90% of the vote. Trump is likely to win everywhere from Kamala Harris, estimates the BBC.
At the same time, Harris has an arithmetical opportunity to win in all states, the publication emphasizes.
