This is stated in the company’s report for the second quarter of the financial year. During this quarter, Kernel recycled 973,000 tons of oilseeds. This is 20% more than in the previous year, thanks to the new oilseed processing plant in Western Ukraine, which began working in February 2024.
The volumes of processing in October-December increased by 42%, with 50,000 tons were processed within the framework of toling agreements with raw materials.
Due to the limited availability of sunflower, three plants were processed soybean (93,000 tons) and rapeseed (14,000 tons), and in January, one of them stopped work.

Quarterly sales of oil reached 408,000 tons (+52% of the quarter up to the quarter, +11% year to the year), of which 26,000 are bottled oil.

Earlier it was reported that in the 2024 financial year (July 2023 – June 2024) compared to the previous financial year, Kernel’s net profit decreased by 44% from $ 299 million to $ 168 million.
The company estimated its share of 6% in the world production of sunflower oil and 9% of world exports. Kernel also accounts for 10% of total grain exports from Ukraine in the 2024 financial year.
