In the Dnipro district of Kyiv on January 6, a drugged-up man lured an 8-month-old dog to his apartment. He abused the animal, and then threw it from the fifth floor and kicked it in front of the child. This is stated on the Instagram page of the “Plyushka” charity animal protection association, reports UNN.

The incident happened at 52 Almatynska Street, and the killer turned out to be Oleksandr Maksymenko, who, according to his wife, had repeatedly killed animals.

Details

The man first lured a dog named Milk into his apartment, where he probably brutally abused the animal. At 8 o’clock in the morning, he threw her out of the fifth floor, and then went down and kicked the dog, while holding the child in his arms.

Milka died from multiple injuries, including a ruptured liver and fractures. All this was recorded by a surveillance camera in the entrance. The video cannot be published due to cruelty.

The dog was cared for by volunteer Natalia Chornovil, who repeatedly fed and looked for a family for the animal.

The police have already opened a criminal case for animal cruelty. The suspect is currently in custody. Given that this is not the first case of killing an animal at his hands, society demands a fair punishment for Maksimenko, in particular, imprisonment without probation.

What did the police report earlier?

The police received a call about a family conflict in the Dnipro district. On the spot, it turned out that a 31-year-old local resident, who had previously been convicted, quarreled with his roommate and decided to take out his anger on a defenseless animal. For such an act, he faces up to 8 years in prison.
