“In Ukraine, more than 68.9 million tons of the new crop of grain and oil crops have been threshed, which has been collected on an area of 18.9 million hectares. In total, 49.9 million tons of grain and almost 19 million tons of oil crops have been collected,” the message reads.
In particular, according to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy:
- wheat – 4.9 million hectares (or 100%) were threshed, 22.3 million tons were threshed;
- barley – 1.4 million hectares (or 100%) were threshed, 5.6 million tons were threshed;
- peas – threshed 212.2 thousand hectares (or 100%), threshed 470.4 thousand tons;
- corn – 3.3 million hectares (or 83%) were threshed, 20.2 million tons were threshed;
- millet – threshed 86.5 thousand hectares (or 93%), threshed 160.3 thousand tons;
- buckwheat – threshed 87.8 thousand hectares (or 99%), threshed 127.2 thousand tons;
- sunflower – 4.7 million hectares (or 95%) were threshed; 9.7 million tons of seeds were threshed;
- soybeans – 2.5 million hectares (or 96%) were threshed; 5.8 million tons of seeds were threshed;
- rapeseed – 1.3 million hectares (or 100%) were threshed, 3.5 million tons of seeds were threshed.
According to reports, the agricultural producers of Odesa region are leading in terms of gross grain collection – 4.4 million tons, Poltava region – 4.1 million tons, and Chernihiv region – 4 million tons. The agrarians of Khmelnytskyi region are ahead in yield with an indicator of 74.9 t/ha, Chernihiv region – 68.3 t/ha, and Bukovyna – 66.5 t/ha.
Agrarian farms in 16 oblasts harvest sugar beets, which are dug up on an area of 223.2 thousand hectares, or 87%. 10.7 million tons of sweet roots were dug up.
