The Kremlin has identified new representatives of the Russian Orthodox Church, whose task is to promote the ideas of a “Russian measure” under the cover of a religious mission.

Details: According to GUR MO, Russia is trying to use a religious factor again to loosen the situation in Ukraine and to realize its political interests in Ukraine.

The list of new curators in Ukraine included:

• Metropolitan Anthony (Anton Sevryuk) – Head of the Department of External Church Relations of the ROC, known for its contacts in international religious circles and active promotion of Kremlin interests through church diplomacy.
• Metropolitan Dionysius (Petro Pubai) – Metropolitan of Omsky and Tavriysky, propagandist of the “Russian measure” among religious communities.
• Metropolitan Paul (Georgy Ponomarev) – Patriarchal governor of the Moscow Metropolitanate, responsible for coordinating the work of the ROC in the countries of “CIS”.
• Metropolitan Varsonofius (Anatoly Sudakov) -the head of the St. Petersburg Metropolitanate, connected with the law enforcement agencies of the Russian Federation and known participation in information and propaganda operations.

Literally: “Listed so -called” church figures “should organize and coordinate contacts with religious organizations whose governing center is located in Russia and other pro -Russian elements in Ukraine, to give them instructions from Russian special services and to control the implementation of provocations in the Kremlin’s interests.”

• On April 22, it became known that the Security Service of Ukraine and the Office of the Prosecutor General reported suspicion of 14 high -ranking metropolitans of the Russian Orthodox Church (ROC), who assisted the Kremlin in attempts to destroy Ukraine’s territorial integrity.
