GUR detained a Belarusian spy who was trying to get into Ukrainian intelligence

In Kyiv, special forces detained a Belarusian spy who had been working in Ukraine since 2015 and tried to infiltrate the Ukrainian military intelligence unit.

Details: According to UP sources, it is about 35-year-old Inna Kardash. She was accused of espionage and arrested.

Literally: “Within the special operation, which lasted for several months, employees of the Security Service of Ukraine and the Security Service of the GUR documented the criminal behavior of the Belarusian spy and played an operative game with her – they “fed” her disinformation under the guise of secret data.

The agent worked for the Belarusian KGB since 2015. In 2020, she was sent to the territory of Ukraine for agent work. Journalism served as a cover – after working on Medvedchuk’s sanctioned channel “112”, the spy got a job in one of Ukraine’s leading media.

Then, by order of the curator, under the legend of the need for a medical examination, the woman left for additional training in one of the EU countries. From the Chekists, she received the task of collecting information about Belarusians and Russians who are fighting against the aggressor state on the side of Ukraine.

Also, the Belarusian spy had to establish contacts with the employees of the Chinese Embassy in Kyiv in order to gather information about the activities of Chinese diplomats in Ukraine.”
