“Go to hell with your discontent!”. A well-known Lviv restaurateur published an emotional appeal regarding the behavior of people in his establishments

The well-known Lviv restaurateur Vardkes Arzumanyan, the founder of the Restaron chain, published an emotional post on social networks addressing customers who voiced groundless accusations or claims during the war. The restaurateur then gave several examples of situations that made him decide to speak publicly.

My friend, who has been in the war since the first days, receives a message from one of the visitors to his restaurants: “I was at your place today, unfortunately, you didn’t have my favorite wine, I put one and will never come again.” By the way, the wine list in this restaurant has more than 150 items. This friend of mine says that he reads such messages just to laugh. It’s like letters from ward number six,” Arzumanyan describes one such case.

He then recalls receiving a message from a “madam in a pretty hat”: “How rude, your valet didn’t smile at me. I will never cross the threshold of your restaurant again.” “And also breaks a unit. And a mademoiselle without a hat tries on our bread basket on her head and, in response to the waiter’s remarks, also blackmails her with a review on the Internet,” adds the restaurateur.

He also sarcastically tells how “other ladies made it a habit to blackmail waiters almost every day” “Let’s write a bad review on all social networks and all our subscribers will never come to you!”.

To the question: But you said that everything was fast, tasty, you ate it all, what did we do wrong?” — the answer is something like: “Well, for example, let’s write that in restaurants of this level it is customary to serve tap water to the table, or that salt, pepper and toothpicks should be on all tables before the arrival of customers. We have been to a lot of restaurants and understand each other. Not sure how you can fix it. You can close our account or pack something with you. Let’s say it’s my birthday,” Arzumanyan gave examples of such blackmail.

Separately, he described the situation of extremely shameful attitude of customers towards one of the waitresses in his establishment: “After a sleepless night, the waitress comes to work with swollen eyes from tears: her husband has been fighting in the hottest spots for some time. Her guests are calling out: five fat drunk men who have been talking for an hour: “What is it, you tell me, you have such a cheap engagement ring, pussy? What, can you have a husband? Are you so sad? Kitty, I will give you a better present. Come with us, we will cheer you up. Well, what’s up, guys, let’s glorify this peddler of yours all over the Internet, shall we?”.

After such a scene, the girl is a waitress of course, I burst into tears,” said the restaurateur.

Then, without hiding his emotions, he turned to that category of clients who allow themselves such acts, being deep in the rear in Lviv.

It’s a pain. Dead inside and empty people, wake up! You have been read and laughed at for a long time, and you do not influence any decisions in any way. You should all see a doctor, and I’m serious, don’t delay. Today, 25 of our cooks are fighting. We are working to bring them back. Women stand behind stoves in men’s places. Our butchers are also women. One day they took away all the bartenders from us. This is where “the parking attendant didn’t smile”. You drank the cocktail that the chef prepared for you, but you didn’t even notice it. We are proud of our people. And you know what? Go to hell with your discontent! We are so confident in the quality of what we do that we have every right to say so,” Arzumanyan concluded his post.
