In September, sales of all-electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles in Europe rose 36% to 427,541 vehicles, while sales in North America rose 66% to about 215,000 units. Sales in the rest of the world increased by 48% to 153,594 cars. Europe also reportedly hit a new high, helped by stimulus in Germany and strong demand in the UK.

The main share was made up of passenger cars — 8,967 units, of which 2,261 were new (+160%), and 6,706 were used (+104%). Among 223 commercial electric vehicles, 46 cars were new (in September 2024 — 13 out of 132). In addition, two more new electric buses hit Ukrainian roads.
In September 2025, electric cars also led the market of new passenger cars in Ukraine for the first time. Their share reached 33%, while last year it was only 15.3%.
