Details: The minister said her ministry was expanding aid “to provide heat, water and electricity to more than two and a half million people”.

“Especially now, in the cold winter, immediate assistance is crucial to ensure Ukraine’s basic energy needs,” she said.
The funds are primarily intended for investments in decentralized heat supply, for example, in mobile heating installations.
“Municipalities must be able to guarantee heating for schools, kindergartens and hospitals, even if large power plants are attacked. These energy supply measures will help people organize their daily lives,” Alabali Radovan said.
The Ukrainian side made a corresponding request to Germany.
The day before, it became known that Luxembourg directed another contribution in the amount of 10 million euros to the Energy Support Fund of Ukraine.
In early December, the Ministry of Economy announced that it would provide Ukraine with additional 100 million euros for the restoration of the energy infrastructure destroyed during the war, in addition up to 60 million eurosalready announced for this year. Germany is the largest donor to the energy aid fund.
