General Staff: there were 163 clashes at the front during the day

163 combat clashes were recorded at the front during the past 24 hours, the situation remains difficult, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in the morning briefing.

According to the report, the most battles were in three directions: Lymanskyi, Pokrovskyi, Kurakhivskyi.

“The enemy attacked 28 times in the Lyman direction. He tried to penetrate our defense near Druzhelyubivka, Cherneshchyna, Grekivka, Nevsky, Torsky, Tern, Makiivka, Novosadovo, and Bilogorivka… In the Pokrovsky direction, our defenders stopped 28 assault and offensive actions of the aggressor towards the settlements of Vozdvizhenka, Novotoretsk, Krasny Yar, Novogrodivka, Selidove , Marynivka and Mykhailivka. The greatest concentration of enemy attacks was near Selidovoy,” the report says.

In the Kurakhiv direction, according to the General Staff, the Defense Forces repelled 25 attacks. “The occupiers most actively tried to advance in the area of ​​the settlement of Georgiyivka. In addition, the enemy attacked in the direction of Tsukuryny, Hirnyk, Kostyantynivka, Katerynivka, and Zhelany Drugo,” the command informed.

In addition, fighting continued in the Kharkiv, Kupyan, Siver, Kramatorsk, Toretsk, Vremiv, Gulyaipil, and Orihiv directions.
