According to the headquarters, in the Pokrovsky direction, Russian units tried 49 times to break through Ukrainian defenses in the areas of the settlements of Volodymyrivka, Fedorivka, Nikanorivka, Chervyn Liman, Rodynske, Novoeconomichne, Pokrovsk, Kotlyna, Udachne, Molodetske, Yalta and Dachne. Three combat clashes continue until now.
The number of Russian attacks in the Lyman direction has increased significantly – there were five attacks last day, and today, since the beginning of the day, Russian invaders have attacked Ukrainian positions 43 times. Currently, the Defense Forces are repelling the enemy’s attack in 14 locations.
On the Gulyaipil direction, during the day, Ukrainian defenders stopped 17 Russian attempts to advance near the settlements of Zatyshsha, Sweetke, Yablukovo, Zeleny Gai and towards Gulyaipol.
The enemy continues its attacks in the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk, South-Slobozhansk, Kupyansk, Slavyansk, Kramatorsk, Oleksandrivsk, Orichivsk directions.
There were no clashes in the Dnieper direction.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi said in an interview for Bloomberg on November 13 that “any decision on the withdrawal of troops from the city is a matter for military commanders on the ground.”
Pokrovsk – a city with a population of about 1,250 people (estimated by the local authorities at the end of October, before the start of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation – more than 60,000) – is an important road and railway junction and was under threat of encirclement by Russian troops for most of the year.
