General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine: 110 clashes took place at the front since the beginning of the day, the most assaults were in the Kursk region

Since the beginning of the day, there have been 110 combat clashes between the Defense Forces of Ukraine and the Russian military at the front, “the hottest now in the Kursk region, where today the enemy stormed the positions of the Ukrainian troops 32 times,” says the new report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy once stormed the positions of Ukrainian units, a battle continues near Kozacha Lopan. In the Kupyansk direction, the Russian invaders once attacked the Defense Forces in the Petropavlivka area and were repulsed,” the report says.

At the same time, “in the Lyman direction, the Russian army carried out 12 attacks on Ukrainian positions in the vicinity of Green Grove, Grekivka, Terni and Ivanivka during the day, nine battles are still ongoing. The enemy also carried out airstrikes on Ivanovka and Yampolivka with guided air bombs, and hit the settlement of Nadiya with unguided missiles.”

“On the Siverskyi direction, the enemy continues to look for weak points in the Ukrainian defense near Verkhnyokamyanskyi and Bilogorivka. Since the beginning of the day, two fruitless assaults by the Russian army have taken place here. The Russians also dropped five guided aerial bombs on Siversk,” the Armed Forces say.

In addition, it is known that “in the Pokrovsky direction, the Russian invaders made 15 attempts to dislodge the Ukrainian defenders from their occupied positions in the areas of Myrolyubivka, Promen, Lysivka, Zeleny, Novy Trud, Dachensky, and Novovasylivka. The defense forces restrained the onslaught and repelled seven attacks by the Russian army, eight clashes are still ongoing. Also, Oleksandropol, Pokrovsk, Lysivka, Sukhy Yar, Udachne and Zvirove were hit by Russian aerial bombs.
