General Staff of the Armed Forces: 208 combat clashes took place at the front since the beginning of the day

On the front since the beginning of the day, 208 combat clashes took place, the Russian forces fired more than 3,300 times at the positions of the Defense Forces, according to the operational summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on November 26.

In particular, according to the General Staff, “five skirmishes with Russian invaders took place in the Kharkiv direction. All of them were repulsed by Ukrainian soldiers in the Vovchansk region. The settlement of Pytomnyk was hit by three guided bombs.

“In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy tried 17 times to dislodge our units from their occupied positions near Hryhorivka, Zeleny Gay, Zagryzovy, Senkovy, Kolisnykyvka, Synkivka, and Andriivka. The enemy dropped one guided aerial bomb on the settlement of Kurylivka,” the General Staff said in a report.

In addition, it is known that “twenty-one times the enemy attacked in the Lymansky direction, trying to advance in the directions of Grekivka, Druzhkivka, Cherneshchyna, Makiivka, Terniv, and Torsky. In addition, the settlements of Ivanivka, Lyman, Zarichne were hit by airstrikes by nine anti-aircraft missiles.

“On the Siverskyi direction, the occupiers attacked in the Hryhorivka area, without success. At the same time, the enemy launched an air strike with a guided bomb on Sloviansk. The areas of the settlements of Chasiv Yar, Stupochki, Bila Gora, Predtechine and Diliivka were attacked by the enemy in the Kramatorsk direction 13 times. The situation in the direction is under control, the Defense Forces are firmly holding the occupied lines,” the summary says.

The Armed Forces noted that “the enemy is intensively attacking the Ukrainian defenders in the Pokrovsky direction. Here, during the day, the aggressor carried out 32 assault and offensive actions. The greatest activity of the Russian occupiers remains in the Myrolyubivka, Promeny, Krasny Yar, Lysivka, and Chumatsky districts.”
