“In the North Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, the defenders of Ukraine repelled three Russian attacks. Another battle is ongoing. The army of the Russian Federation in these sections of the front struck seven aviation strikes, dropped 17 managed airbots, also made 102 artillery shelling, in particular ten – from jet fire systems. In the South Slobozhansky direction, from the beginning of the day, the defenders repelled two attacks of Russian troops, and five more combatants continue. The invaders are attacked near Vovchansk and towards Odradny, ”the Ukrainian command says.
At the same time, according to the General Staff, six offensive actions of the Russian Federation in the Kupyansk direction were successfully stopped in Kupyansk direction in the areas of Stepova Novoselivka, Nova Krubakivka and Kupyansk.
“There were 12 fighting collisions near Greek, Novomykhailivka, Shandrivolovy, wells, Tornsky and Novoselivka in the Lyman direction. Seven fights are still ongoing. The General Staff also informs that in the Pokrovsky direction 28 times the clashes of different intensity near Pankivka, Nicanorovka, New Economic, Red estuary, Ray, Chunyshyn, Zavory, Lucky, Kottle and Subc. One combatance is still ongoing.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said on September 18 that, within the framework of the Dobropilsk counter -offensive operation, the Ukrainian military freed 160 square kilometers and seven settlements.
On September 8, the Commander -in -Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said that in August, Russian troops captured 13.5 square kilometers in the Dobropilsky direction, where they created an offensive group but lost 25.5 square kilometers.
