From the occupied territories, five more children were returned – Yermak

Ukraine has returned five more children from the occupied territories of the Russian occupied, Presidential Head Andriy Ermak in Telegram.

According to him, among his returned to Ukraine-a 10-year-old boy who remained in occupation for a long time with his sick grandmother.

“When the war began, his mother was in another city. She tried to take her son on her own, but to no avail. Now the family is again together and safe in Ukraine, ”Yermak said.

According to Yermak, this return of children was made possible by the initiative of the President of Ukraine Bring Kids Back UA, as well as thanks to the efforts of the Ombudsman office.

In March 2023, the International Criminal Court in the Hague issued warrants for the arrest of Russian President Vladimir Putin and the children’s Ombudsman of the Russian Federation Maria Lviv-Belova. They are suspected of committing war crimes – violent deportations and movement of the population, including children, from the occupied territories of Ukraine.
