From the beginning of this day, there were 112 combatants on the front, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces.

According to the headquarters, 29 assault and offensive actions were performed in the Pokrovsky direction during the day of the Russian Federation – the activity of the enemy was observed in the areas of settlements Mirne, Popi Yar, Kopteve, Lisivka, Novosergiyivka, Muravka, Walkhove and Oleksiyivka. The fighting has not subsided in three locations so far.

In the Liman direction, the enemy has been storming the positions of Ukrainian defenders 18 times near the settlements of the Kopanka, the New Peace, the Middle, the Green Valley, the well, the well, the Novovodane, Grekivka, Ridkoodub, Mirny and towards Serebryanka, and another ammunition is still ongoing.

Russian troops also continue their attacks in the South Slobozhansky, North Slobozhansky, Kursk, Kupyansk, Siversky, Kramatorsk, Toretsky, Novopavlovsky and Orikhiv directions.

The Pokrovsky direction in the Donetsk region remains one of the hottest areas of the front. Over the last year, the largest number of combat clashes is mainly recorded there.

On May 22, Radio Liberty Donbass reported that Russia in Donbass intensified the offensive in several directions, seeking to surround Konstantinovka – an important railway knot and a stronghold of Ukrainian defense.
