“From October 1, 2024, the minimum amount of unemployment benefits will increase by 500 hryvnias – from 2,500 hryvnias to 3,000 hryvnias,” the message reads.
According to Yuzhanina, the decision adopted at the meeting of the board of the Fund of Mandatory State Social Insurance of Ukraine in case of unemployment will apply to persons who have at least 7 months of insurance experience in the last 12 months, as well as registered internally displaced persons.
For people without insurance experience, the amount of assistance will remain at the level of UAH 1,500.

The maximum amount of payments is set at the level of the minimum wage.
