Details: According to the investigation, the Volyn priest promised for 10 thousand dollars of rewards to make a conscript in the deacons of one of the churches, so that the man would receive a deferral from mobilization and would be expelled from the “Oberig” register.

Details: It is stated that during the sanctioned searches at home and in the cars of the priest, they found communications, bank cards and other material evidence.
The priest was suspected under Part 3 of Art. 369-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (obtaining an undue benefit for influence on officials combined with extortion). The sanction of the article provides up to eight years in prison with confiscation of property.
It is noted that prosecutors have filed a request for election of a suspect.
