From 200 to 1,100 km deep into Russia: the General Staff revealed the details of the most massive drone attack

On the night of January 14, the Defense Forces of Ukraine carried out the most massive attack on military facilities of the occupiers at a distance of 200 to 1100 km in the depths of Russia.

Details: Targets in the Bryansk, Saratov, and Tula regions of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan were hit.

The “Kombinat Krystal” petroleum product storage base in Engels, Saratov region, was attacked again, where a fire that lasted 5 days after the previous attack had just been extinguished. The landing was successfully resumed by the units of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Main Directorate of Intelligence.

Also, the Bryansk Chemical Plant in the city of Seltso – a strategic facility of the military-industrial complex of the Russian Federation – was affected. Ammunition for barrel artillery, multiple-launch rocket systems, aviation, engineering ammunition and components for Kh-59 cruise missiles are manufactured there. A secondary detonation was observed on the territory of the plant, which lasted for several hours. In addition, two enemy anti-aircraft missile complexes – “Tor” and “Buk” – were destroyed during the attack, the General Staff notes.

Units of the Unmanned Systems Forces, Special Operations Forces, Missile Forces, Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense and the Security Service of Ukraine were involved in the execution of this combat mission.

In addition, units of the Main Directorate of Intelligence and the Security Service of Ukraine attacked strategic objects of the military-industrial complex of the Russian Federation – the Saratov Oil Refinery and the Kazanorgsintez plant. A fire broke out at both facilities.

Verbatim General Staff: “Purposeful and systematic work to destroy objects that provide ammunition, military equipment and fuel and lubricants to the occupying army of the Russian Federation will continue until the complete cessation of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine.”

What preceded: On the night of January 14, the Russian authorities reported a massive attack by drones on a number of regions of the Russian Federation, local Telegram channels published videos of large-scale fires at the refinery and the factory. It was noted that a total of 12 regions of the Russian Federation were attacked and that air defense allegedly shot down more than a hundred UAVs.

Subsequently, the 14th separate regiment of the BpAK of the Forces of Unmanned Systems of the Armed Forces reported that they had re-hit the oil depot in the Russian city of Engels and that the fuel tanks for the Tu-160 bombers were on fire as a result of the attack.

The source of the UP in the Defense Forces named a number of enemy objects in different regions of Russia, which were affected as a result of the joint special operation of the Security Service of Ukraine and the Defense Forces on the night of January 14.
