“The enemy once again carried out a massive attack on Ukrainian regions and the capital, using missiles and attack drones. The foresters of the Metropolitan Forestry Office continue to fight the consequences of the rocket attack that occurred on the night of September 30,” the message reads.
According to the information of the state-owned enterprise, as of 7 a.m., 7 cases of fires have been contained on a total area of 1.25 hectares in the Vyshchedubechan branch of the State Enterprise “Forests of Ukraine”. At 10 a.m., a new fire was contained on an area of 1.1 hectares.
23 workers and 11 units of special equipment, including fire modules and tractors with plows, are involved in extinguishing fires. In parallel with the extinguishing of active centers, foresters conduct constant patrols of the territory. New ignition points appear, which may arise from smoldering debris or sparks carried by the wind.
