For the Brrenna Minister, this is the first visit to Ukraine. She plans to discuss preparations for home returning Ukrainians who are currently under temporary protection in Norway.
“It is for me about understanding needs. We want 90,000 Ukrainians in Norway to be best prepared to return to their country that will once be rebuilt,” Brenna said.
She added that Norway wants those who are currently studying.
“Ukrainian youth in Norway should be able to use this time to improve their skills – and so that it meets the needs of Ukraine. We will discuss with Ukrainian government officials, which will need a country for a functional society after years of war,” the minister explained.
