“Unfortunately, this attack took the life of a civilian. The injuries received turned out to be incompatible with life – the person died on the spot,” said the head of Kostyantynivka.
Gorbunov called the situation in the community “extremely tense”.
“At the moment, it is impossible to carry out a full inspection of the places of events due to the immediate threat of repeated shelling and the high activity of enemy unmanned aerial vehicles that are constantly hovering over the community. The enemy does not even provide an opportunity to take away the bodies of the dead in a dignified and safe manner or to provide assistance to the injured, once again confirming its insidious tactics of terror,” added the head of the Kostyantynivska MBA.
The Russian military regularly attacks Ukrainian regions with various types of weapons – attack UAVs, rockets, anti-aircraft missiles, and anti-aircraft missiles.
The leadership of Russia denies that the Russian army during a full-scale war inflicts targeted strikes on the civilian infrastructure of the cities and villages of Ukraine, killing the civilian population and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply facilities.
The Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes of the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are purposeful in nature.
