“The fact that now even New Zealand and Australia, which are not members of NATO (although they work closely with NATO in the Indo-Pacific region), have also joined the program is really great news. This ensures a steady flow of weapons to Ukraine for critically needed US supplies,” Rutte said.
According to him, a number of countries, including Canada, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway and Poland, have pledged to provide more resources to support Ukraine through PURL.
The Dutch foreign minister, arriving at NATO headquarters, announced that his government would provide another half a billion dollars for the PURL program, joining two packages: one with Germany and Poland, another with Germany. Each package has a volume of half a billion euros.

According to Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiga, on December 3, promises were made regarding PURL packages worth a billion dollars.
“This means that allies and partners have already committed more than four billion dollars to PURL, which puts us on track to reach the full five billion a year,” the NATO Secretary General clarified.
In total, more than two-thirds of NATO allies have participated in the PURL program, Rutte said, and there are “really very few” of countries that have not yet contributed to PURL.
In the summer of this year, the USA and NATO concluded the PURL (Prioritized Ukraine Requirements List) agreement, which provides for sending American weapons to Ukraine at the expense of European countries, and NATO coordinates the process.
