For the first time in almost 50 days, on the night of October 14, the Russian occupiers did not attack Ukraine with Shahed drones.

Details: The Air Force Communications Department confirmed that the invaders did not attack “Shahed” on the night of October 14.
T.v.o. Yuriy Ignat, head of the communications department of the Air Force Command, confirmed that for the first time in the last 48 days, the night passed without “Shaheeds”.
At the same time, the Air Force did not comment on what the sudden lull on the part of the occupiers might be.
Earlier in October, Ignat reported that the Russian occupation forces are increasingly using drones of an unknown type, in addition to Shaheds, which are often affected by Ukrainian electronic warfare equipment and fall to the ground without causing damage.

- The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced that on October 9, they struck warehouses near Yeysk with the forces and means of the naval forces and the Security Service of Ukraine. The target was warehouses in the village of Oktyabrske, which, according to the General Staff, were used to store “Shaheeds”. According to the General Staff, about 400 attack drones were stored there. A detonation was observed on the territory of the warehouse when the target was hit.
- September 2024, according to the calculations of military journalists, became the first month with daily attacks by Russian kamikaze drones. In total, in September, the enemy launched 1,339 Shahed-type strike UAVs over Ukraine, of which 1,107 were shot down, and some of them were suppressed by EW.
