Details: During his visit to Kyiv, the Norwegian Foreign Minister announced a new aid package for Ukraine.

According to him, $200 million out of $400 million will be directed “to immediate energy needs, gas purchase and other urgent issues related to energy in order to restore the supply of heat and electricity as soon as possible.”
The other $200 million, the Norwegian minister noted, is intended for budget support, which “will serve as a bridge until the promised funds from the European Union actually arrive.”
“This is a strong symbol of solidarity and a common cause, and we wanted to do it immediately. I come from a cold country. Today in Oslo, the weather is the same as in Kyiv. Therefore, we understand how important heating is in Ukraine,” Eide emphasized.
Ukrainian Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrii Sybiga, in turn, said that this new package of energy support for Ukraine is very timely.
“It will help strengthen the stability of our state and society. This is a continuation of constant energy support from Oslo,” added the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry.
Earlier it became known that Norway will finance another batch of American weaponseat for Ukraine and provides more than 267 million euros for this purpose.
At the end of December, they wrote that Norway will direct 40 million crowns to support agriculture in Ukraine.
