“Thousands of combat doctors save lives in the most difficult conditions of war. Often these skills and knowledge acquired without profile education, but have already been tested in the most extreme and unpredictable trials. They can now become the way to a new profession and career in civilian life. And for Ukrainian medicine, they are reinforced by hardening. – Note in the message.
Two levels of study are available for combat physicians from now on:
professional education education in the specialty “Nursing” for the qualification of a nurse or paramedic;
Higher education (bachelor) in the field of “Nursing” with specialization “Emergency medicine” – for the qualification of paramedic.
Professional standards “Emergency Medical Technique” and “Paramedic” have also been approved.
”This allows you to officially recognize the experience of combat physicians and opens the way to work in the emergency medical care system “, – The message says.
For those who still serve, it is also possible to get education remotely by abbreviated programs (2.5 years) or to obtain higher or professional education education (admission with UBD – by interview, without NMT), as well as after completion of training (level of professional education) to a paramedic in a three -year specialization.
Opportunities for those who have already released from service:
can be employed immediately with emergency medical techniques even without this qualification (during the year it is necessary to take a qualifying exam, and within two years – to obtain a driver’s license, if not);
In parallel with the work remotely obtain education under the abbreviated program;
Upon completion of professional higher education – immediately go to work with a paramedic and confirm professional qualification by passing the exam, or having passed a cycle of specialization.
The department also noted that those who were instructor in tactical medicine or older physician or battery during the service may immediately apply for the position of emergency medical medical equipment.
The pilot project for recruiting students among combat doctors will start this year. The changes will be fully operational since 2026.
