According to the Finnish Ministry of Defense, this time the aid package will include materials of domestic production. For security reasons, detailed information about the content of the aid, the method of delivery or the schedule is not provided.
“Finland will continue to support Ukraine by supplying defense materials as planned. In addition to our own support packages, we also participate in several capacity building coalitions to build and strengthen Ukraine’s own capabilities. We want to contribute to ensuring that Ukraine has the right and ability to defend its country and people,” said Defense Minister Antti Hakkianen.
The total value of the defense equipment that Finland supplied to Ukraine has already reached 3.2 billion euros.
In January, Ukraine received another batch of energy equipment from six European countries, including Finland.
