On October 21, the International Federation of Skiing and Snowboarding (FIS) will announce a decision on the admission of Russians. The Finnish association said that they oppose the return of the Russians and they will still not be able to go to the first stage of the World Cup in the city of Ruka.

The first stage of the World Cup will start in Ruk on November 28. The Russians were suspended from international competitions in March 2022.
