Details: The cost of the defense capabilities that will be included in the new package is about 98 million euros.

In total, since the beginning of the full-scale war, Finland has already provided defense aid to Ukraine in the amount of approximately 3.1 billion euros.
Finnish Defense Minister Antti Häkkiänen noted that this time the package was formed in an accelerated mode in order to respond to the most critical needs of Ukraine at the moment.
According to him, in 2026, the implementation of the procurement program to support Ukraine by the Finnish defense and industrial complex is also underway.
“Finland continues to support Ukraine with defense materials, as this is the most effective way to contribute to the achievement of a just peace,” Häkkiänen emphasized.
For operational reasons and to ensure the safe delivery of aid, the Ministry of Defense of Finland does not disclose details about the composition of the package, methods and schedule of deliveries.
