Finland, which abandoned the long-term policy of military neutrality and entered NATO in 2023, has a 1340-kilometer border with Russia.
In turn, the head of the Strategic Planning of Finland’s Defense Forces, Major General Nurmi himself predicts that Russia will continue to increase the forces near its borders after the end of the war in Ukraine.
According to Finnish media, Finland is preparing for the United States will not adhere to the key Article 5 of NATO, which provides for joint defense by Member States in the event of an attack on one ally.
