Direct speech: “We immediately reacted to the information that was announced by the prosecutor during the selection of a preventive measure for one of the participants in the case.

On the initiative of the director of the SBI, we collected materials and handed them over to the Main Investigative Department of the SBI, and on November 14, we initiated two criminal proceedings…
Certain investigative actions are planned, there are certain directions in which we will work. In the future, we will report to the TSC on this matter.”
Details: He added that on November 17, the SBI sent a request to NABU to obtain a permit for investigative actions regarding those involved in the “M” and “B” cases. It is probably about Myronyuk and Basov.
The information was confirmed at the meeting by the head of NABU Semyon Krivonos. According to him, in the office there was working communication with the SBI through references in the “Mindich tapes”.
The records published by NABU as part of the “Midas” operation stated that one of the participants – Ihor Myroniuk – allegedly met with someone from the SBI staff.
To the question, why in a week after the publication, the SBI still did not find out which of the employees met with Myronyuk, Chobitok was unable to answer.

We will remind: “Ukrainian Pravda” previously published an article in which it found out that Andriy Sinyuk, the deputy head of the SAPS, repeatedly met with lawyer Oleksiy Meniv, who, according to journalists, may be close to Timur Mindich, co-owner of “Kvartal 95” and an associate of President Zelensky.
After that, the head of the SAP Oleksandr Klymenko stated that an official investigation is underway in the department regarding his deputy Andrii Sinyuk, the results of which may have both disciplinary and criminal consequences.
Prehistory:
- On November 10, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine announced that it had uncovered a large-scale corruption scheme for embezzling funds in the energy sector, as well as made public audio recordings of the negotiations of the participants in this case. Before that, UP sources reported that NABU is conducting searches of businessman Timur Mindich and Minister of Justice Herman Galushchenko. Interlocutors of the UP also noted that Mindich fled abroad a few hours before the searches.
- On November 11, journalists revealed the names of all those involved in the investigation into mass corruption at Energoatom, who received suspicion from NABU. According to the “Schemes” project, Timur Mindich (who is called “Carlson” in the NABU audio recordings – ed.), ex-adviser to the Minister of Energy Ihor Myronyuk (“Rocket”), Dmytro Basov (“Tenor”), executive director of security at “Energoatom”, Oleksandr Zukermana (“Sugarman”), Ihor Fursenko (“Ryoshik”), Lesya Ustymenko and Lyudmila Zorina received suspicions.
- Five persons from the list of suspects have been detained. Two of them – Mindich and Zukerman – left Ukraine.
- Basova, Myronyuk, Fursenko, Ustymenko and Zorinii chose precautionary measures with the possibility of bail. Later, it became known that the High Anti-Corruption Court received bail for the money-laundering “back-office” workers around Energoatom, Lesya Ustymenko and Lyudmila Zorina.
- On November 12, Minister of Justice Herman Galushchenko was removed from his post after a high-profile NABU investigation into corruption at Energoatom NAEC.
- On November 13, President Volodymyr Zelenskyi put into effect the decision of the National Security and Defense Council to impose sanctions against the businessman, co-owner of the studio “Kvartal-95” and his associate Timur Mindich and businessman Oleksandr Zukerman.
