“Two people died in the accident – a Ukrainian and a German,” writes BFMTV.
Four people were also seriously injured, including a woman from Poland. Currently, doctors are fighting for the woman’s life.
According to the police, the bus driver had to leave the A11 highway to wait out the blizzard. There, he flew to the side of the road and crashed into the fence that separates the parking lot from the highway. The bus bounced up and then overturned on its right side.
Police are investigating how slippery winter road surfaces, vehicle speed and wind gusts contributed to the incident.
There were 12 passengers and a driver in the bus.

German media recall that a similar accident occurred last spring on the A9 highway near Leipzig. Then the bus of the same transport company left the road and overturned. Then four women died. 30 people were injured.
