Details: It is noted that according to the investigation, during 2024 the suspect concluded a number of contracts with the Department of Capital Construction of Sumy OVA on the performance of works on the construction of fortifications in the border areas of Sumy region.

The financing was carried out at the expense of the reserve fund of the state budget.

According to law enforcement officers, the director of the company, realizing a criminal intent for the seizure of budgetary funds, concluded subcontracts with a controlled enterprise at an inflated price.

Subsequently, he introduced deliberately false information to the acts of acceptance of the completed works, forming a fictitious executive documentation and certificates on the volume and cost of construction.

As a result of these actions, the person seized the funds of the reserve fund of the state budget, causing appropriate losses to the state in the person of the Department of Capital Construction of Sumy OVA.

The integrated judicial construction and technical and economic expertise confirmed the task of the state of losses in the amount of more than UAH 1.1 million, regarding the fulfillment of the terms of the contracts during the purchase of fortification from wavy steel.

Losses on the results of the implementation of other contracts in the amount of more than UAH 26 million are the subject of research by specialists, the results of which will be assigned relevant judicial examinations.

The issue of precautionary measure to the suspect is currently being resolved.

The pre -trial investigation continues, the involvement of other persons in the commission of crimes is established.
