The Supervisory Board of the Energoatom joint-stock company elected the chairman and deputy of the Supervisory Board, and also approved the work plan for 2025.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Economy, the position of the chairman of the supervisory board was taken by former Minister of Energy of Lithuania Jarek Neverovych, and his deputy was an expert in the field of nuclear energy with over thirty years of experience, Michael Kirsta.
“Today’s meeting of the Supervisory Board is an important step towards effective management of Energoatom.” The full functioning of the Supervisory Board will allow the company’s corporate management to comply with the requirements of legislation and international standards, in particular the OECD guidelines. This is especially important, given that Energoatom is the largest generator of electricity in Ukraine, and the efficiency of its operation directly affects the stability of the country’s energy system,” stressed Oleksiy Sobolev, First Deputy Minister of Economy.
