The head of the Khmelnytskyi MSEK Tetyana Krupa, who is suspected of illegal enrichment, has had her bail reduced from UAH 500 million to UAH 300 million.

Literally: “According to the results of the review, the panel of judges of AP VAKS partially satisfied the appeals of the defenders, annulled the ruling of the Pecherskyi District Court of Kyiv and issued a new one, by which a preventive measure was applied to the official in the form of detention with an alternative of bail in the amount of UAH 300 million.
The decision entered into legal force from the moment of its announcement and is not subject to appeal in the cassation procedure.”
What preceded:
- In the course of the investigation into the facts of the illegal registration of disability for male petitioners, law enforcement officers conducted authorized searches in the offices and at the residence of the head of the regional center of medical and social examination, Tetyana Krupa.
- 100,000 US dollars, medical documents with signs of forgery, as well as lists of “evaders” with names and fictitious diagnoses were found in the office of the head of MSEK.
- In addition, 5 million 244 thousand US dollars, 300 thousand euros, more than 5 million UAH, branded jewelry, as well as documents that may indicate money laundering through various business projects were seized from the official’s home.
- During the investigation, the head of MSEK tried to get rid of part of the money by throwing two bags with half a million US dollars out the window.
- On October 7, the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv chose a preventive measure against Tetyana Krupi. She was remanded in custody for 60 days (until December 3) with the possibility of bail in the amount of UAH 500 million.
